Medium Changes + NaNoWriMo are a Good Chance to Focus on a Game Plan
Let’s spend November getting our writing businesses in order.
By Shaunta Grimes
The thing I love most about NaNoWriMo isn’t necessarily the idea of writing a novel in 30 days. (That part kind of makes me a little twitchy.)
No. The thing I love is the energy in the writing community.
Man. It’s intense. It’s impossible not to catch the fever.
I love everyone gearing up and putting their imaginations to work and just going for it.
In the little world of Medium writers within a larger writing world, there’s this extra kind of manic energy right now — because Medium’s gone and changed everything up on us all of a sudden.
So, that kicks in on Monday (10/28) and then a few days later — every writer in the world kicks off the biggest writing event in the write-o-sphere. Whew. It’s a lot.
But here’s what I think. This is a great time to come up with a game plan for our businesses. In fact, I came up with a whole Medium + NaNo plan for you! Click through to see that.
